  Board Chair - Naima Cozier, MSPH
Ms. Cozier has 14 years of experience working in community health and behavioral sciences with an emphasis on HIV prevention and care. As Senior Consultant for John Snow, Inc. (JSI), Ms. Cozier works on national capacity building initiatives dedicated to the implementation and
adaptation of evidence based interventions, development of monitoring and evaluation plans, and enhancement of organizational infrastructure. Her capacity building portfolio includes working with community-based organizations to develop social media strategy, gender-responsive HIV/AIDS programs, and collective impact initiatives. Ms. Cozier began her public health career in New Orleans, Louisiana as Program Manager for a reproductive and sexual health organization where she served young African American and Latina women. Ms. Cozier holds a MSPH from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and a BS from Xavier University of Louisiana.

   Board Fundraiser - Richard V. Swindle

Richard V. Swindle retired in 2015 from Mercer University as the Senior Vice President – Atlanta. He has held senior positions at three institutions of higher education: Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama; Franklin College, Franklin, Indiana, and Mercer University, Atlanta and Macon, Georgia. He served as the chief development officer at both Franklin College and Mercer University, and led the planning and implementation of multi-million dollar capital campaigns at both institutions. At Mercer he currently holds the title of Special Projects – Atlanta Campus, and also serves as Professor of Education at the University. He holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Emory University. Dr. Swindle brings significant fund-raising experience to the AHRC, as well as extensive non-profit executive experience. A graduate of the Leadership DeKalb Class of 2012, he is a member of the Midtown Atlanta Rotary Club, a former member of the Board of Directors of Conscience International and Georgians for Passenger Rail, and is Chair of the Strategic Vision Committee at Smoke Rise Baptist Church.


  Board Interim President & Treasurer - William Parker, COU, ChSC, AET
Mr. Parker is the President of ABG Financial Services, Inc., a registered investment advisory firm, and Author of “How Did You Get Here?” One Black Man’s Journey through White Corporate America. Mr. Parker’s career has included successful stints at Union Carbide Corporation, and Eastman Kodak Company, a long tenure which culminated as Sales
Promotion Manager for Kodak film in the United States and Canada. In this position he directed the successful launch of Kodacolor® 400 film. Subsequently, he worked for the E&J Gallo Winery as Brand Manager for E&J Brandy. Mr. Parker directed the highly successful new product launch for E&J Brandy. He served as President and CEO of The Marketing Forum, Inc. a successful advertising agency. He presided over the creative efforts of this organization resulting in the agency being awarded the very prestigious Communications Excellence in Black Advertising Award “CEBA. He is the recipient of many industry and community awards attesting to his skills and success as a motivator and leader in the financial services business. Mr. Parker holds a number of trademarks related to financial planning products and services. Mr. Parker has held a variety of community and business leadership positions such as President of the Atlanta Chapter of The Society for Financial Service Professionals; Past President of the Atlanta Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors; Past Chairman of the African American Advisory Committee to the President of the American College; past National Board Member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals; and a former board member of The Galloway Schools. He a member of The Midtown Atlanta Rotary Club; a life member of The Million Dollar Roundtable, a member of the Cascade United Methodist Church; member of the Cobb County (GA) chamber of commerce; member of the Cobb County Transit Advisory Board; and President of the Terrell Mill Community Association.

  Board Secretary - Marla Renee Stewart, MA
Marla Renee Stewart, MA is a lecturer at Clayton State University and a co-founder of the Sex Down South Conference. She is a sexologist, a professional sex, intimacy and relationship coach and sexuality educator. Gaining her reputation for being “The Sex Architect,” she created Velvet Lips, a sexuality education company, to empower people of all ages to embrace, educate and enjoy their sexuality and
their sexual lives. She has studied human sexuality for more than 15 years at San Francisco State University and Georgia State University, respectively, and has expert knowledge in a wide variety of subjects. She has published academic articles and continues to do sexuality research. She has conducted workshops at conferences, not-for-profit and private organizations, as well as universities in the Atlanta area. She has been featured on many radio shows, documentaries, books, magazines and has been invited to speak at Universities around the country. In addition to being on the board of the Atlanta Harm Reduction Coalition, she also sits on the board for SPARK Reproductive Justice NOW! 
General Member - Blair Meeks, BS 
 Blair Meeks works as a Senior Communication Strategist at Jackson Spalding in Atlanta where he has worked since 2008. Before that, he worked as a TV reporter where he won six Emmys for news coverage in four different communities around the country including Atlanta where he worked at WXIA-TV, 11Alive. Mr. Meeks serves on the communication committee and has joined AHRC to add his skills and experience in communications and marketing in an effort to help clients build better lives.

General Board Member - Roshanda Naulls, CPA

Roshanda is a senior associate in Aprio, LLP’s Advisory Business Services group. She has experience preparing individual and business income tax returns ranging from simple to the most sophisticated returns. During her career at the firm, Roshanda has gained extensive experience in the professional services and entertainment industry. She works to develop lasting relationship with all of her clients. Roshanda graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BSBA in Accounting, along with a Minor in International Business. She is a licensed CPA in the State of Georgia. Her professional affiliations include American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Georgia State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and National Association of Black Accountants. 

General Board Member - Eric Paulk
Eric Paulk is the HIV Policy Field Organizer at Georgia Equality. In this role, he manages statewide advocacy and policy related to HIV. Prior to coming to Georgia Equality, Eric served as the Tyron Garner Fellow at Lambda Legal, the oldest and largest organization dedicated to advancing the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and individuals living with HIV. There, Paulk’s work focused on the intersections of race, class, and sexuality with an emphasis on HIV and the law. Recognized as an emerging leader and passionate advocate for civil rights, Eric has spoken at leading law schools, and national advocacy conferences on HIV criminal reform, the impact of the school-to-prison pipeline on black queer youth, and the intersectionality of race, poverty, HIV, and LGBTQ issues. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Counter Narrative and is the former board chair of GLSEN New York City. Eric is also a 2017 Victory Empowerment Fellow. He is a graduate of Pace University Law School, and received his bachelor’s degree in Business from Morehouse College. In his spare time he enjoys reading, theatre, and trying new restaurants.
