Who We Assist

AHRC engages directly with prevention, grassroots advocacy, research and direct services to those made vulnerable by substance use, sex work, overdose, stigma, gender identity, sexual orientation, STIs, HIV, HCV, homelessness, and other communicable diseases. We meet individuals where they are and work to bring those who are at risk linked to prevention and health services regardless of their choices, circumstances or lifestyle. All our services are confidential and free of charge.


AHRC has several new, exciting projects that provide linkage to essential, medical and supportive services for participants. These include, but are not limited to individual and group counseling, PrEP enrollment for qualified individuals, confidential HIV testing and counseling.
